On June 5th, Coindesk published the article about the CEO of IOHK, Charles Hoskinson. Recently Hoskinson announced that the long-awaited Shelley protocol — which allows users to stake and earn Cardano’s native ADA cryptocurrency — would be rolled out gradually across June, with a full launch penciled in for June 30. This announcement pushed the ADA price to +50% last week.
Hoskinson believes that “there’s a very strong possibility that we will be very competitive price-wise with the rest [of the crypto market].”
The crypto analyst Benjamin Cowen posted a YouTube video on June 4, 2020. In the video he talked about the Cardano price prediction and stated the following opinion:”You know, one of the triggers for all coins to move, like ADA, would be Bitcoin being above the 20 week moving average…So this was the week April 27th that the Bitcoin crossed it and since then we’ve continued to move up. And despite what Bitcoin does at this point, whether Bitcoin stays where it is or goes up, I think ADA is still going to likely continue to move up.”

Here what was said in this video about ADA price by a member of the Crypto community: “The price of ADA is pretty flat over the past couple of years while it was in development. It touched 0.10 $ a year ago in June 2019, so I think this price of 8 cents for ADA is still undervalued and I definitely think we’re going to be having a huge price rally leading up to this maintenance.”
